Fencing on unlevel ground

Our fencing is able to be put up on unlevel ground. Depending on how much on an incline or decline there are a few options. If the change is dramatic then the best ting to do is step the fence so that it drops down with the incline. If the change is not dramatic then the best thing to do is instal the fence as you normally would and allow the fence to follow the contour of the ground.

Gates:
Gates when properly hung may require a simple minor adjustment occasionally, but improper installation, misuse or abuse may cause a gate to not function properly, or at all. Every Gate is professionally hand made and inspected before shipping from the manufacturer. If a gate is found to be defective upon arrival, it must be noted on the motor freight carrier’s (shipper) Bill of Lading. Failure to note the damaged product on the Bill of Lading will forfeit any right to a no-cost replacement.

Solar Post Caps:
Solar Post Caps should be checked for proper operation immediately upon arrival. This is a very simple test which involves removing the plastic tab allowing the batteries to connect and power the light; then simply place your hand over the solar panel to test. Our Solar Post Caps are powered by rechargeable AA batteries, but must receive enough sunlight to properly charge the batteries for proper operation. Non lighting Solar Post Caps typically are the result of dead batteries, caused by not enough sunlight or charge time. For customers in the northern states, it is recommended that you remove the batteries from Solar Post Caps during the winter months, and place them in storage.

Fencing Tops

Some of our fences are available in different style tops. Whether it's the concave, convex, stepped, or straight tops. It is very important that you specify the style of the top that you would like to go with your fence. That is if the different styles are applicable to the fence that you choose.

Gates

I hope that everyone had a wonderful holiday weekend!

There has been a few phone calls with questions in regards to gates and the post that they need. We do not sell a special post for attaching our gates to. A end post is what will be used. Now because you are hanging a heavy, sturdy gate, from this post, it is required to put a gate post stiffener in it. This will prevent the post from bending over the years. Gates will require minor adjustments with tightening the brackets. Our gates are designed to last over the years.

Your first and last name, and more importantly a call back number. With the call back number please leave your area code as well. We deal with people all over the US and the area code is very important. We try to get back to our voice mails as quickly as possible but sometimes depending on how busy we are it may take a little longer then usual. Please be patient in waiting for a call back.

Pool Codes And Regulations.

Each county or township has a code which they set forth in regards to the codes and regulations for pools and fencing. Different counties or townships may have differences in these codes and regulations. It is important contact your local municipality before shopping for a fence to surround a pool so that you will know what you are shopping for. Should a fence not meet the requirements of your local municipality you maybe subjected to fines and forced to replace it with one that does. Make sure you do your homework before buying a fence!

A lot of people call up and are curious as of to where we are located. My office is located in Millville NJ. The manufacture is where the product is shipped from or picked up from. The Manufacture is American Quality Vinyl and they are located in Egg Harbor Twp NJ.

Connecting Two Different Styles Of Fencing.

Recently a customer called up looking for fencing to put around his pool. They were torn between two different styles of fencing that we offer. They wanted to have some of our Lafayette fencing for one section but felt that the Princeton fencing would look better for another section. They were happy to know that with our custom fencing we would be able to accommodate their needs. The manufacturer can custom rout our post to fit different fences of different sizes. These posts are call “transition post”. This is just another way that we like to set ourselves apart from other fencing distributors.

Shipping.

I have noticed that a lot of people have questions in regards to shipping. The manufacturer is located in New Jersey and will be able to ship via their own fleet of trucks to customers in NJ, and parts of PA, NY, and MD. We will ship the product to any customers located in the US but charges will vary depending on different factors. The cost will be determined by the size of the shipment, the weight, and the distance. When it comes to the shipping charges there is little that can be done to keep the cost down because of these factors. Now remember that the shipping charge can be avoided if the customer would like to pick up the product directly from the manufacturer. That is always an option.

Installation of Posts

Due to recent questions of how to install the posts of our fencing, I decided to type up a guide on how to install our post. I hope this helps all our customers out.

After each post has been positioned and marked, use an auger or post hole digger to dig holes. If using 5 x 5 post use a 12” diameter hole. If using 4 x 4 posts use a 10” diameter hole. Holes should be 36” deep or below the frost line.

Fill the bottom of the hole with 2” of gravel.

Position post with 2” of clearance between the bottom rail and the ground. Fill the hole around the post with concrete up to 2”-4” from the top of the hole.

Level and square off.

Vacation!

I was out of the country from June 9th till June15th. I am sorry for anyone who attempted to contact me during this time and was un able to do so. But I must say my work load was alot a pon my returning to work. It took me all of Monday and Tuesday just to reply to emails and voicemails. Thank you to everyone for being patient.

For those of you that knew I was going to be away on vacation I would just like to let you know that it was an amazing time!!!
